| Turkish metal producers selling prices in August up by 3pct MoM - 06 Sep, 2010 | ||

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, in August this year the producer price index for Turkish industry in general rose by 1.15% over July and was up 9.03% YoY while an average rise of 6.18% was registered for the latest 12 months. In August, the PPI for the domestic basic metal industry rose by 2.54% MoM and was up 21.24% compared to August 2009. Meanwhile, the average increase in the latest twelve months was 6.46%. On the other hand, during the given month, the PPI for domestic manufacture of metal products except machinery, slightly decreased by 0.27% over the previous month and was up 0.79% YoY. Meanwhile, in the sector in question an average decrease of 0.57% in the PPI index was registered in the latest 12 months. (Sourced from Steel Orbis) | ||
