Korean steelmakers refuse Japanese offer for HRC - 04 Jul, 2009
It is reported that Japanese mills have planned to lift the HRC price to USD 500 per tonne due to more inquiries for HRC from Korea.

Currently, Japanese mills and Korean mills are holding a negotiation, but Korean mills don't accept the latest offer.

Korean mills like Dongkuk Steel, Union Steel and Hysco refused to accept the latest offer for HRC, indicating that they won't import HRC from Japan at the price over USD 450 per tonne.
